Liberty Church Statement of Faith

1. We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments in their original writing as fully inspired of God and accept them as the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe that Jesus Christ was the first begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is in fact the only true Son of God.
4. We believe that God created man in His own image, that man sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of sin, which is death (physical and spiritual). We also believe that all human beings inherit a sinful nature, which can only be forgiven by the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins through the offering of His body on the cross, rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of Father God and is presently interceding for those that have accepted him as Lord of their life.
6. We believe that Jesus will return to the earth to gather His Church to carry us to our heavenly home.
7. We believe that in order to become a child of God you must be born again. This takes place by true faith in Jesus Christ and is witnessed by the Holy Spirit.
8. With regard to sexual behavior, we believe in heterosexual relationships between a natural man and a natural woman within the confines of lawful matrimony. Adherence to this stated principle of sexual behave is an inherent requirement of membership of Liberty Church Inc.
9. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers for service, with the accompanying supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit.
10. We believe in the divinely ordained ministries of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher that should be in operation within Liberty Church Inc.
11. We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal banishment of those who have rejected the offer of salvation.
12. We believe that the one true Church is the whole company of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We also believe that Liberty Church Inc. is apart of this “great company” and our members are a necessary part of the Kingdom of God.
13. We believe that in order to be a member of Liberty Church Inc. a person must have had the New Birth experience and make a public declaration (confession) of his/her faith in Jesus Christ as the Lord of their life.
14. We also believe that when a person is born again that “old things” (things that are contrary to sound bible doctrine) should be left behind and that all things (that is all things pertaining to their life on this earth) are to become new according to the teachings and beliefs of Liberty Church Inc.
